I DID THIS ON FUCKING PAAAAAIIINNNTTTTTT.
... So. I've been working on this for like, the past two days. I know, I fail. Very hard. And I realise it's just floating heads. STFU. I'm not good on Paint, okay? It confuses me. =______= Regardless, this was really fun to do. It was a nice challenge, especially keeping the lineart clean - it's so satisfying to see such crisp lines. I didn't use Photoshop at all (well, except to crop the white off slightly), because my malfunctioning tablet is really picky when it comes to photoshop. The two characters are Promethius (on the left, who has no real direct link with the Greek god, Prometheus [link] as this story is in an alternate world, but it does draw on some of the myths of said god), and Elepon on the right (who looks much more content, bishounen and attractive than he's really supposed to be. |D ) I've had Elepon as an original characters for over two years now. Time goes fast. Promethius is maybe a year old, possibly more - as the story changed and matured he came in as a character to replace a lot of old plot devices/character problems. Elepon is, in a nutshell, possessed by Promethius, but not to the point where he has no will of his own. Rather, they co-inside within the same body. Just like some species of animals, both of them benefit from the parasitic situation - Promethius is given a means of transportation and a mouthpiece, while Elepon draws on the ghost's spiritual power and senses, and is able to travel across the Ether borderline, which separates the Material World from the Other World. Of course, there are downsides to the arrangement - Elepon's body is falling apart from the stress of two occupants, and the longer Promethius says in the Material World, the quicker he vanishes, also. Neither of them like living in the same body. Both are snarky bastards, and not in a good way, either. Elepon has major trust issues and can't socialise well at all (then again his mind is actually about a dozen years behind his body, in terms of maturity (literally)) and claims up to ignore his insecurities. Promethius will take any opportunity to piss El off and is torturing the other's mind basically 24/7. The texture around Elepon's left eye isn't scars or tattoos, but rather a sign/curse of Promethius' presence and the decay of his body. The longer Prom says with El, the more widespread the web becomes. And before you ask, no, Elepon is not an elf. I just have this obsession with drawing fae ears. I'm not even sure if I want to keep them, because I don't really want the story to be fantastical enough to have non-human species (apart from the supernatural), but I still adore him with them. ....
