Drawn in my new art/colouring style (which I've creativly entitled, Chibimei (think a cross between chibi and anime), this is a fairly complete cast of all my most used, loved, fleshed-out and known characters. These guys from across various worlds of my imagination and writings - you can see from the legend provided which stories their from, and who they assoicate with.


Oh yes, I'm also really proud of this: because of this gallery, I was requested to join an art compitition, and....*drum roll*
I was actually, seriously, totally serious here, I was offered.... publishing.
Real life, comic book publishing. My art = published in a comic book. Either sold seperatly ($7 in US money, I guess) or in a pack of five ($25 US or so).
The profit is around 60%. o.O Good or bad? I know nothing of publishing.

I'm not sure whether to accept, because 1) I'm wary and paranoid, 2) I suppose the company is based in America, and I live in Australia, 3) I'm of young age, 4) I suck at drawing comics. A year or so ago, yes, I loved comics. I prefer straight art now. Perhaps I could do some pin-ups or such?

This is something I've been working on for a few days - a, ALMOST complete gallery of all my most loved, used and known OC characters. These guys (and gals) come from all across my imagination - a lot of them were created via RP or doodles, some by inspiration. Anyway, ya, wanted to pimp the ones that I've finished, and get some awesom comments and critique and stuffs Mind though, this is a very new art style of mine, so I know there are things wrong with it. As you go down the art gets newer and much nicer. ^^




Okay, lets take roll call, from left to right:


RAELIN = one of my much newer characters, he started off as a bad random doodle, which then progressed into roleplay with him. Now I adore him. ^^ He's sweet, a bit naive, and generally a nice guy. He's a main character in my novel WeatherCraft, which takes place in my fantasy world Treed. Raelin IS NOT AN ELF!! He's a For'Fae, a type of being that dwells in the colder, snowy partsof Miad in the Polar Regions. He's also in love with Moria, and no, there's no "forbidden love" junk going on.


MORIA = Chums around with Raelin while he teachers her the finer parts of Craft (the main magic on Treed) and WeatherCrafting (fiddling with the weather). She's quite fiery and determind, although really very nice. WeatherCraft is told from her point of view (she's a main character). This is also very bad art because it's very hard to draw her. >>; She got a thing for Raelin.


INULAS = a fairly new but old character, he came about when I needed a random name for a B/C pet from gaia. I used the name quite often, and it's only now that I actually turned him into a character. I haven't done much with him though. He comes from a sci-fi world, which possibly could be Treed in the later years (like, thousands of years later). His species (whatever it is), is not-exsistant in the medieval Treed. Inulas has a special sort of supernatural power - whenever he walks into a building or structure with strong memories embedded into it, he can feel ad see visions of it. He hangs around in his own story, NOT chumming with Elepon, or Raelin or Cadel or Sakiel.


ELEPON = a really fun guy to play (and one of my favourets), Elepon also comes from Treed, except in his story, it a few decades before WeatherCraft. He's a Mo'Fae, a Fae that live in the south of Treed, and they're based loosely on the Mothman myth - which is why he looks like he does. Elepon is partly possessed by a Protic, a type of nasty spirit that posseses you by offering wealth, power, love, whatever you want - if you except, it will merge with your body and take it over. I'd explain better, but it's a huge subject. Anyway, Elepon is pretty much a bastard - he's a cynical pessimist with very flimsy moral values. He's always cracking sarcastic jokes on people and pretty much anything he can see.


BUBADOOM = one of my most oldest characters, he's only half mine. He was made up between an internet friend and I when we were writing Fanfiction a few years ago. I kinda took over him. Nowadays, Bubadoom is an Egyptian demi-god, focussing more on the healing aspects of nature. He hangs around in his own story, NOT chumming with Elepon, or Raelin or Cadel or Sakiel.


ALFRED = hey, look, it's me!! Alfred is a Wegoror, and he COULD be related to Inulas. Alfred actually came around after I re-joined gaia (I was here a few years ago too), so no, my avatar and user name are not based off him... well, they are, but.... not really. Well, he's not actually based off my avatar at the moment, since I'm cosplaying as Raelin, but when I'm NOT cosplaying as Raelin, I always have the neon/black hair and my lunar cloak on, and sometimes elvish ears. He's very innocent. 8D


CADEL = ahh, Cadel, one of my favourites and damn fun to play. I think I captured his expression pretty well: "Come flirt with me because I'm sexy and full of myself", or just simply, "I'm so sexy...". Cadel first came about when, after seeing PotC2, I had a sudden urge to make a pirate story. 8D Cadel is the captain of the Hawk Rose, and he's very full of himself. An outrageous flirt, he also dwells in the World of Treed, although I'm yet to figure out what kind of Fae he is. Anyway, yes, he's a nice guy alot of the times, though his morals are very flimsy.


RISEN = Picked up by Cadel to pass Cargo Customs, it didn't take long to find out that Cadel was a pirate. But Risen, juggling theft and petty crimes, really had nowhere to go, so she stuck around with Cadel. It was inevitable she fall in love with him. <3 Like Cadel, I'm not sure what kind of Fae she is.


SAKIEL = an old character, I'm not sure what to do with him anymore. He used to be apart of an old idea I had going, where he pretty much lived in a dream world. He isn't a Fae, and he doesn't live in Treed, and I have no idea what to do with him. He's cool though, and yes, he is a demon of some sort. Yes, being a demon is lame and cliché these days, but he's at least a year or two old, so I have an excuse.


SCARAB = chums around with Elepon and stuff. Originally, he was supposed to have a really angsty past with madness, murder and such, but... angsty is annoying. So I'm revamping him with a more normal history. The problem is.... I haven't even the slightest idea where to begin. o.O He's a stubborn, quite and withdrawn type of guy, usually quite serious.


ZRUTHA = Zrutha actually isn't MY character, she's a friend of mines, Azriphael. Came about while starting rp (I guess? I don't really know). Also chums around with Elepon and Scarab. Zru is a determined but playful gal. I'd put more here, but as she's really Azriphael's character... meh.


MATILDA = The daughter of Duke Bitterman, Matilda also is a friend's character... partly anyway. She was originally called Rihan, and came about while roleplaying. Her player (as we were friends) gave me a fairly free rein to play with her in Elepon and Scarab's story. Unfortunately..... her player didn't have many, ah, realistic ideas for her in my story, including the fact that she was a princess but had run away to become a PICKPOCKET, she DIDN’T enjoy a nobles life and.... her player wanted her to have an evil twin.
I stopped her there.
So I grabbed the character, churned her up with a giant blender, and out popped Matilda (this was the name that I found myself wishing she had). She does NOT have an evil twin, she's not a princess but a Lady instead, and she enjoys court life. Matilda is VERY naive. When joining Elepon, Scarab and Zrutha, she starts off hating them all, but slowly comes to fall in love with Elepon.... who doesn't WANT a relationship to drag him down. Watch and laugh as she tries to seduce him. >w<


ELIJAH = the son of Elepon and Matilda (ppfftt, looks like he finally broke >w<, Elijah has inherited quite a few nasty genes from his father. More serious than Elepon, Elijah can be pretty violent and nasty sometimes, and is perminetly in a shell. His Craft is much more wild, because he neglects keeping it in order. Mostly he just wanders around Treed, just like his dad - they both highly dislike staying in one place for long. Elijah met up with Raelin and Moria when he attacked them once, thinking Moria had stolen the book (long story).


BRAND = Brand is pretty damn awesome... of course, there's always the nagging fact that he's a SERIAL KILLER!! Anyway, not he's not a villian - actually, he's a good guy, even though he's a psycopath and enjoys nothing more than to hang mutilated bodies on sewer walls. Beside of all that, he's probably the most SANE in the rag-tag group that chums around with Elepon. Rational, charming and practical, Brand is the type that will sit and listen/watch, rather than DO anything. No idea what kind of Fae he is, but seeing as he usually prowls around sewers and underground, some kind of.... underground Fae?? o.O
Oh, also, that's not his blood. 8D
